Chicago Just a Hop Skip and a Jump Away

I am so excited to be continually working with our client, The Association of Subcontractors and Affiliates of Chicago. They are such a great group of people and are really fun to work with. Chicago is less than an hour away by plane from Columbus, making the travel west quick and easy. A few weeks ago I traveled there for a visit, along with Dave Keller, TRIAD President. Our main reason for the trip was to attend the Publications Committee meeting and help the committee plot out the Fall Issue of Construction Connection magazine in which TRIAD produces and sells advertising. While there, we outlined the editorial calendar for 2010 and discussed details of its upcoming Annual Directory that TRIAD will produce as well.

ASA Chicago has many exciting things ahead of them as an association. With Brian Maddox, the new Executive Director, at the helm,the members of ASA Chicago are continually planning networking, educational and business development opportunities for its companies and the industries in which they work. One of the highlights on the horizon for the city of Chicago, and the association, is the announcement of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Chicago is a strong contender and many members of ASA Chicago have been working hard on Build 2016 committees to ensure the city gets the bid. What an economic impact this will make to the city, and thus ASA Chicago members! Stay tuned … the announcement is October 2.
