Clarke Fire Protection Products launched an aggressive trade show schedule in early June, participating at high-profile events in Leipzig, Istanbul and Las Vegas. The TRIAD team provided marketing support that enhanced Clarke’s presence at each venue.

Leipzig, Germany hosted Interschutz 2010, the leading international exhibition for rescue services, fire prevention, disaster relief, safety and security. Scheduled every five years, this year’s program boasted more than 1,300 exhibitors from 46 countries and attracted 125,000 visitors. Clark introduced a new diesel engine platform designed specifically for fire pump applications throughout the European Union.

TRIAD’s design team maximized Clarke’s visibility at Interschutz with exciting graphics for their L-shaped display. The back wall included a series of seven display panels featuring dynamic full-color photographs of Clarke’s newest engines – all painted Clarke’s signature red. Background graphics added contrast with muted black & white close-ups of engine components and world maps.

The display sidewall was in a class by itself, featuring a single massive photo of the fire protection installation at a corporate jet hangar in Ohio. Four huge Clarke diesels standing side by side provided a powerful visual! Overall, the Interschutz display made a strong statement – engineering expertise, product innovation and global commitment.

On the home front, Clarke introduced a super-high performance engine at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 2010 Conference and Exposition in Las Vegas. Capable of delivering 1,000 horsepower, this engine offers one of the highest power ratings available for stationary fire pump applications.

TRIAD designed a pre-show e-mail blast announcing the engine debut and also to encourage registration for Clarke’s Engine Start-Up Training Sessions at the show. The metrics for the e-mail blast were spectacular – with a 36 percent open rate and 18 percent click-through. But the real success happened at the show, as the unveiling of the new engine and training sessions were well attended.

As the autumn season commences, Clarke’s whirlwind trade show schedule continues. It will display at the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) Conference, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) Conference and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) Convention. TRIAD will develop pre-show e-mail campaigns and website landing pages to support each event.
